BRANDON KINARD
Prior to co-founding KGS Law, Mr. Kinard worked as a litigation attorney in Houston representing plaintiffs in personal injury and first party insurance cases. Mr. Kinard has handled hundreds of cases on behalf of injured victims against insurance companies and has extensive trial and appellate experience.

State Farm Lloyds v. Fuentes, No. 14-14-00824-CV, 2020 WL 897401 (Tex. App.—Houston [14th Dist.] 2020) – Mr. Kinard successfully defended a jury verdict finding bad faith against the insurance company. Total recovery in this case exceeded $400,000.

USAA v. Griffith, No. 13-17-00337-CV, 2019 WL 2611015 (Tex. App.—Corpus Christi 2019) – Mr. Kinard successfully defended a jury verdict finding that the insurance company breached its policy and committed bad faith. Total recovery in this case exceeded $500,000.

Babin v. Haynie, Case No. 01-13-00265-CV, 2013 WL 54981444 (Tex. App.—Houston [1st] 2013) – Insurance company’s lawyer appealed this case raising a procedural technicality. The appellate court sided with Mr. Kinard and his client.

Town & Country Suites, L.C. v. HCAD, 461 S.W.3d 208 (Tex. App.—Houston [1st] 2015, no pet.). – After the trial court dismissed his client’s case, Mr. Kinard obtained a reversal on appeal on an issue of first impression regarding statutory construction and subject matter jurisdiction. The case ultimately settled with a favorable result for the client.
